Ministries

The Scripture likens the body of Christ to the physical body (1 Corinthians 12, Romans 12 and Ephesians 4.) Just as every part of the human body has a responsibility to the other parts, Christians have a responsibility and opportunity to join beside fellow brothers and sisters in service to God.

  • Every member is a minister!
  • Every ministry is important!
  • Every ministry is unique!
  • Every ministry is dependent on the others!

There is no example in the Bible of a member of a church who has no part in the ministry of that body of believers. We want to help each member find a ministry that best suits them. Here are some of the ministries carried out by our church family.
  • C.E.R.T. (comunity emergency response team  ( 1 items )
    The Union Hill Church of Christ C.E.R.T. is a part of the Christian County C.E.R.T and is under the direction of the Christian County Emergency management office in Ozark, Mo. Union Hill C.E.R.T has completed the training required by the Christian County to be classified as Level One responders and the Team is doing futher training to be able to be upgraded, we are also setting up with Red Cross to become a shelter. The C.E.R.T  meets on the second Tuesday's at 6:00 pm at the Union Hill Church of Christ 865 N. Nicholas Road Nixa, MO. We would love to make you a part of the team, call or come by.
  • Disaster Relief  ( 1 items )
    Welcome to Union Hill Church of Christ Disaster Relief. Just a little about us, we work with all kinds of disasters, tornado, flood, earthquakes, wild fires, etc... or just anything that is declared a disaster by the state, Union Hill Church of Christ has and maintains a warehouse that services local Churches of Christ in southwest Missouri and even in surrounding states, and is stocked with supplys to aid in a disaster, most of which come from the Churches of Christ Disaster Relief Effort, Inc. located in Nashville, TN and some from local Churches of Christ.
